I’m listening to Vivaldi’s Four Seasons (well, a version of it anyway) while I work through exercises in Learn Python 3 the Hard Way, and I really like how Vivaldi’s Summer 3 has been tweaked in the album “Recomposed by Max Richter: Vivaldi, The Four Seasons“.
Here’s a fairly typical rendition of this track:
Now, here’s the Max Richter and Co version:
On a related note, this is a beautiful version of Autumn 3, too:

@pauljacobson Thanks for sharing. This is now the second “recomposed” work I know of. Have you heard the Bach Cello Suites by Peter Gregson? I bet you’d like them.
@christopherchelpka I think I may have listened to that. It sounds familiar. I’ll check it out!
@christopherchelpka I listened to the Bach Cello Suites this morning, great recommendation! Thank you.
@pauljacobson This is now the second “recomposed” work I know of. Thanks!
@pauljacobson my husband introduced me to Richter through Sleep and he’s been one of my favorite new artists since.
I feel like I need to listen to more of his work while I work. Any other suggestions @koritsimou?

@pauljacobson he does a whole lot of tv/film work that’s very evocative and worth a listen even if you don’t see the show/movie. On The Nature of Daylight is pretty good too.
@pauljacobson also if you like Max try Library Tapes.
@koritsimou Thank you for the suggestion, I’ll try some of their work too!
@pauljacobson I’ve listened to this whole album four times today, and I love it. Thanks so much for sharing.
@christopherchelpka You’re welcome. I’ve just started my day with this album.
