Official Twitter WordPress plugin or Yoast SEO integration?

I’m playing around with Twitter integration for my WordPress site and I installed the official Twitter WordPress plugin a week or two ago. I also have the Yoast SEO plugin which has Twitter integration and support for Twitter’s card metadata.

I have been tweaking Twitter options in some of my more recent posts but they aren’t translating into customised tweets so I wonder if I should disable either Yoast’s social integration (at least for Twitter) or disable the official Twitter WordPress plugin and stick with Yoast’s integration?

Any suggestions?
