Its funny how the little things really bug me. I noticed a little thing in Firefox 4 which bugs me so much I just refuse to use the browser (and desperately hope it is on the design team’s list of things to sort out) for the most part. It all comes down to this unused space above the tabs:
Compare that with how Chrome uses that space:
I know this is probably a really small issue in the scheme of things but the 3 or 4 mm difference in viewable screen space is really annoying. If you add in the status bar at the bottom of the browser chrome, it works out to a little extra precious space lost.
