This is a re-post from my personal blog.

The one disadvantage of having an Android phone, for me at least, is that I can’t get OmniFocus for my phone. OmniFocus is probably one of the best productivity applications around but I’ve started wondering if my inability to access my task lists when I am not in front of my MacBook (quite often actually) is impairing my general level of productivity? I took a look at Remember The Milk which has the advantage of being pretty much ubiquitous with Web-based, mobile and in between availability. That means I can carry my tasks with me when I am out and about. It also means giving up OmniFocus because the two don’t play well together.

Anyway, I’ve sitting here adding tasks from OmniFocus to RTM and I keep finding little niggling things I am not doing properly or which are not available in RTM to help me sort my tasks better (I’d love to be able to sort my tasks in the order they were added …!). At the moment I just have a growing list of tasks which I have been tagging to enable me to differentiate them. I’m not sure I am getting the tagging syntax right though and could wind up with a long list of confusing and unsorted tasks which won’t get me any closer to Done!
