One thing I have noticed about American lawyers is how specialised some of their practices are. I often wonder if the local legal market is big enough to sustain these sorts of specialisations. I came across a blog called CamLaw
dedicated to a pretty specialised area of the law through a post on Lexblog
which contains an interview with the attorney concerned, Michael H. Cohen
. Cohen is an attorney specialising in complementary and alternative medicine law and policy. For those people who are unfamiliar with the term “complementary and alternative medicine”, it covers a range of healthcare options outside mainstream medicine such as yoga, reflexology and a range of energy practices. It fascinates me how specialised some of our American colleagues are.
