If you’re a bit bored of the classic WP Admin dashboard of your WordPress site, try OpenStation (on GitHub) for a more computer desktop-style view. It’s a nice change. I have mine set to “Living Tree”.
OpenStation adds a windowing system to WP Admin. There are still occasionally little UI issues here and there but nothing major, and it’s really easy to toggle it off from the masterbar.

Looks like my post skipped the links. You can find links here: https://pauljacobson.me/2026/08/12/prettify-your-wordpress-dashboard-with-openstation/
The OpenStation team has released some really nice improvements to the mobile UI that noticeably improve the experience. If you don’t know about this alternative approach to WP Admin, take a look here.
