It’s mid-Summer in this part of the world. It’s generally pretty hot, as you can imagine. Somehow, having some cloud cover makes the heat a little less oppressive.
It looks like the remnants of Spring are going away, as Summer digs in here in Israel. These pods have been falling from their trees for a couple weeks now.
The heat has been incredible the last few days and August is only just beginning. Thank goodness for air conditioning. I'm dreading the electricity bill though. Sunday was the hottest day of the year in Israel, and the high temperatures continued into Monday and don't appear to be letting up anytime soon.
