Danny Elfman’s Batman theme in the Justice League soundtrack

I thought I’d listen to Danny Elfman’s Justice League soundtrack again this morning, and noticed a familiar theme while listening to the track “The Final Battle” at about 1:12: It’s familiar because Elfman probably drew on his theme from the Michael Keaton Batman movie themes. Listen to this track from Batman, titled “Attack of the […]

Batman Ninja holiday viewing

Neither of our kids are going to the summer program we booked them into today, so we finished watching Batman Ninja before I started working this morning.

Hans Zimmer’s Dark Knight never gets old

I love Hans Zimmer’s music for the Batman Begins/The Dark Knight/Dark Knight Rises trilogy. This music never gets old: On a related note, and while not quite in Hans Zimmer’s League, Blake Neely’s work for the CW shows like The Flash is also terrific. Justice League and Wonder Woman trailers – oh boy!

Warner Bros has released preview trailers for Justice League and Wonder Woman and these movies look amazing. I can’t wait to see them even if I am a little gun shy after Batman v Superman.

The Dark Knight Rises soundtrack is on heavy rotation

I woke up this morning to an email letting me know The Dark Knight Rises soundtrack was finally available. It is on heavy rotation today, headphones are compulsory and I am loving it. I think this album is better than The Dark Knight soundtrack.

Whose worldview do you hold: Superman or Batman

Another Seth Godin gem: There are dozens of other worldview-types out there.
