You may remember Alanis Morissette‘s great release, “Ironic”, which she released back in 1997 on her album, Jagged Little Pill. Here is the music video if you don’t:
Morissette teamed up with late night talk show host, James Corden, in November 2015 to perform a 21st century update of her classic song and it is awesome:
I noticed the new version on Facebook last night (it’s doing the rounds for some reason) and I really enjoyed it. One of the things I like about the track is that it shows how playful Alanis Morissette seems to be. That playfulness is fantastic to see as a fan.
As much as I enjoy her music, my favourite memory of Alanis Morissette is her very brief performance as G-d in Dogma. That was a fun scene!
