My brother mentioned to me that he is trying Postbox out as a possible Mail.app replacement (Mail.app just doesn’t seem to behave for him). I have a couple niggling issues with Mail.app so I thought I’d try Postbox out again and see if it is as good as or better than Mail.app. So far the trial is going reasonably well but one particular feature impressed me today.
I received one of those Internet banking scam emails about my fictional ABSA bank account which I must log into to avoid account closures or something. I’ve seen enough of these to know they are nonsense and clicked on the message to mark it as spam in Postbox when I noticed this warning:
This is great and although I recognise these phishing messages, its good to know the software is looking too.
