Great post Paul!
There's a number of companies on Twitter that offer me great support & that I would go out of my way to recommend because they're using Social Media to serve me better.
@hootsuite & @hootsuite_help, @feedly, @woopra – they offer great free services/products, but are VERY responsive to questions & comments.
@Rbjacobs from First National Bank – I tweet about a problem & the bank *calls me*. They have my details so they pickup the phone and sort out my problem. This is a benchmark for me.
@Payfast – Good responses, although they still prefer to do support via email 🙁
@HenkNeuhoff from Water Rhapsody – he'll be coming around to our house to make a quote purely on his Twitter interaction.
@livescribe Not fabulous, but they did sort out a problem I had
@virginactiveSA – As a Virgin Active member, this account is also invaluable. Another benchmark.
@springleap (although they can be a bit *noisy* :O )
@clearcontext Great product, great support & if you tweet a referral they DM a discount code to you 🙂 which I used!
Bottom line: if you can communicate with me without email or a telephone call, then I'll probably become a loyal fan.
