I had fun at the 2007 SA Blog Awards

I just wanted to publish a quick post about the Blog Awards this evening. I had a great time and I enjoy each event more and more. There are some awesome people in this community and it is the highlight of my month getting to spend some time with people like Jonathan, Vincent, Matthew, Mike, Victoire, Aquila, Angus and many more.

There are so many cool ideas going around that I really see blogging explode here in South Africa very soon. I’ll probably publish the list of winners (all were great blogs/podcasts and we could do far worse than be represented by them in this showcase of local blogging and podcasting talent!) as soon as the list is published. Aside from Tertia winning “Best Blog” with So Close, I don’t really remember the other winners per category.

Update: Rich…! published the video that was shot and edited by the fabulous Leechi last night and it shows you all the winners from the awards! Excellent job on the video Leechi!
