I do agree partly with your concern of giving work to black advocates without paying regard to their competency but still it forgets that for one to be competent one must have something to do and therefore acquire the necessary skill, if they have no work how are they going to be competent, experience comes with time and practice. it is true that everyone has to start somewhere, white advocates were never born practicing law it is through support they received that they “look” competent. well i believe we as blacks deserve that support and ofcourse mistakes will be part of that learning even white advocates lose sometimes that is the nature of law.
