Viva start-ups, viva!!

I received an email from Ben Botes, the blogger behind the viva start-ups blog, the other day and took the opportunity to take a look at his blog.  I was quite impressed to find a veritable wealth of information for start-up businesses in South Africa.  His most recent post contains contact information of organisations that provide funding to a variety of start-up businesses and before that, a post about how free trade areas benefit import and export SMMEs.

In short, a great resource and one definitely worth bookmarking!

I noticed that Ben also runs a pretty comprehensive business support website called SA Business Hub which contains even more information of value to small and medium businesses (in fact, businesses of any size really).  Categories of information range from Accounts and Finance to BEE to Marketing and Sales.  There are even forms and documents that you may need at various stages in your business.  Once again, a site worth visiting.
