The pros and cons of being small

I run a solo practice and I received a call from a salesman selling anti-virus and anti-spam solutions.  He asked for my IT department and when I told him I am the IT department as well as Admin, Finance and the tea lady, he thanked me and started to end the call.  He didn’t even ask if I needed anything (which I don’t).  Obviously solo practitioners don’t get attention …

On the positive side, I won’t be plagued with calls by eager salesmen because I am too small to bother with …
