Very intersting article:
In my opinion Lawyers should not have the right to charge soo much for billable hours. Most of their work and documents are done with a computer with the touch of a mouse pointer.
They only go to school after college for three years and then take a bar exam without requirement for recertification which lasts a lifetime unlike other professions, and very few lawyers are board certified in their respective field of speciality.
The only feasable solution to solve the outrageous legal fees and help this society as a whole, is to include in the curriculum of public and private schools, starting at middle school: a law course and spread it for six years throughout highschool. Graduate then would become bar exam eligible and take the bar exam test and become lawyer. We then will have a nation of lawyers who would then understand the law . Following this scheme, since most of the high school graduate will understand the law, court proceding etc…Lawering as a profession would dissapear.
Remeber it is through our taxes that law are enacted, why is it that we have to pay a lawyer to understand the laws that were enacted and therefore payed by our tax dollars.
