Virtually there

Gone are the days when long distance relationships are maintained through letters sent through the postal service, telephone calls and visits.  Well those work too but broadband and the web have created new possibilities for those who live apart:

This "always-on" audio channel between you and your friend keeps the
intimate link alive and functions somewhat like a live chat room. A

offers an impression of what is happening in your friend’s room. At any
time, you can choose to virtually step in his/her space and converse
with your buddy as if s/he were in the room with you.

Personally, I avoid long distance relationships.
