I was planning to just mention this post on the Love.Cybelle blog when I flooded Twitter and took my blog down for a bit. It is a powerful post about what it is like to live with one of the heroes we see each day and, perhaps, too easily take for granted.
The post is titled “Living Life with a Paramedic” and is both a personal perspective post by a friend and a reminder what a paramedic’s life is often like. We see them on the side of roads helping accident victims, rushing past us on the way to some calamity and hope we will never have to meet them under such tragic circumstances.
Just the same, I have met a few of these heroes and my hope is that if I ever need them, they will be around to help me.
