Twitter Updates for 2007-07-30

  • Trying out some Pixies … haven’t heard this stuff since my varsity days … #
  • Hey – The Pixies … I dig this track! 🙂 #
  • @marcforrest I use the daily posting tool on del.icio.us to post my links to my WP blog. Take a look at their tools/setting section #
  • At a meeting at iCommons … #
  • @markforrest You’re welcome. Let me know if you don’t come right? #
  • At KFC in Rosebank. I missed breakfast and I am really hungry. #
  • Waiting for Sprout’s cot and compactum to be delivered … #
  • What would it take to persuade my Twitter friends to open a Jaiku account and stream updates into their Twitter streams? #
  • I mean, Jaiku streams #
  • @PaulWalsh The big reason to keep using Twitter is that there are so many people using it, prob as many as Jaiku for me #
  • @PaulWalsh Aah, the dagger in my back … #
  • @PaulWalsh The two aren’t mutually exclusive. You can run your Twitter feed into your Jaiku stream and use both. #
  • @PaulWalsh Jaiku is great as an aggregator of feeds and content streams and is great for status updates too. Commenting works well too. #
  • Lol … little bit in the spotlight here … #
  • I think the value of Jaiku for me is in the aggregation feature and the commenting feature #
  • Through the aggregation feature in Jaiku I can publish an ongoing life/consciousness stream to my followers #
  • The commenting feature makes engaging in a conversation really easy to track and participate in #
  • @PaulWalsh Sure, so perhaps not being mutually exclusive wasn’t correct – Twitter doesn’t play nice with Jaiku which plays nice with eve … #
  • @MaxKaizen Not trying to twist any arms, I am just a Jaiku fan and would like to see more of my friends using it. Appreciate help with O … #
  • @danieroux I think there is work being done on a direct IM interface. I use Juhu for the Mac (desktop) and IMified on IM #
  • Oh, if anyone wants to check out my Jaiku profile it is at pauljacobson.jaiku.com. Ok, I’ll talk about something else now … #
