New license plates: it’s all true!

I was wondering what would happen when Gauteng ran out of numbers on the current license plate system and it turns out we just get new license plates … which we have to pay for! The new license plates are supposed to be launched in the next month or so and we will have to replace our existing sets next year. And of course we will have to pay for them.

I am not too fazed by the introduction of a new system but what bothers me (and most people who have heard about this) is that the government buggered up the new eNaTIS system (which doesn’t work) and now they want to add to that mess with a new number plate system too? This can only go badly.
