The Telecoms Action Group recently raised R50 000 from people like you and me to publish a full page ad in the Mail & Guardian taking aim at Telkom’s profit taking at the expense of its customers. Here is the ad:
I don’t see the government doing anything significant any time soon so it really does come down to us, the consumers, to take action against Telkom. Of course it would be easier if we could talk with our feet and move to the next operator. I just hope Neotel is paying attention and isn’t also going to try screw us.
